Fernando Flaminio completed his seventh season with the Ithaca coaching staff in 2007.
A native of Brazil, Flaminio played goalkeeper for a number of professional soccer teams including Clube Fonte SP-Campinas in Campinas, Brazil, and Sao Paulo Futebol Clube in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His teams received division, state and national championship honors.
Flaminio received a technical accounting degree from Abdiel Cavalcanti Braga College in 1978 and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and administrative sciences from Fundacao de Ensino Octavio Bastos in 1985. Along with speaking three languages he is also a level-three scuba diver.
