Braden Studelska joined Ithaca College as an assistant coach for men’s soccer in the summer of 2015. He came to Ithaca after a two-year stint as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Buena Vista University.
While at Buena Vista, Studelska carried a number of responsibilities, including training, recruiting, game day operations and management of game film. Studelska developed and implemented an annual tournament with local coaches and players to cultivate relationships and raise funds for the program. He also helped host Buena Vista’s first ever alumni game in the spring of 2014.
Prior to Buena Vista, Studelska served as head coach at Kuemper Catholic High School from 2011-13. He recorded 10 wins over two seasons while acting as a participating member in the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association. Studelska served as an assistant and volunteer coach at a number of other programs, including Storm Lake High School (boys and girls) and the Hudson Soccer Association.
Studelska played four years of varsity soccer at Buena Vista and earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry education.
