2021: Recorded an assist in Ithaca's 2-1 OT win against Medaille (9/1)....Recorded one assist in the 1-1 draw against Hamilton (9/21)...Scored what turned out to be his final point of the season via an assist in the Bombers dominant 6-0 victory over Bard College (10/9)...Appeared in 19 games where he made 17 starts for IC...Finished the season with three points on three assists...Also notched 13 shots, placing eight on target where he totaled 1176 minutes during his senior season. | 2021 Statistics

2020: The fall athletics season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019: Appeared in all 21 games for the Bombers making 3 starts... Tallied 2 goals on the season... Scored his first goal as a Bomber in the season opener against NYU on August 30...Recorded three shots including two on goal in a 5–0 win over Morrisville St. on September 4...Had a goal and three shots in the Bomber's 3-2 win over Union (10/18)... Totaled 1,181 minutes in his sophomore campaign.

Prior to Ithaca: Played soccer at Division I Campbell University.

High School: A 2017 graduate of Shattuck St. Mary's School, Ali spent much of his childhood in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates...He was named to the Academic Honor Roll during his junior and senior years in high school. 

Personal: A history major, he is the son of Mannan and Naseem Kapasi.
