Biography
2005: Palmieri played in eight games for the Bombers. He registered 25 saves and held a .521 save percentage. He recorded a career-high nine saves in Ithaca’s victory over Oneonta.
2004: Palmieri played in five games, tallying 44 minutes in goal. He recorded 15 saves and held a .714 save percentage and an 8.30 goals-against average. In 12 minutes of action at Scranton he recorded a career-high seven saves, allowing only one goal. He also recorded four saves in a win over Merchant Marine Academy and three against St. John Fisher.
2003: Palmieri played in two games for Ithaca. He held a .667 save percentage and a 7.86 goals-against average.
High School: Palmieri was a three-year letter winner for coach Jim Donahue at Somers High School. He was an all-section and all-league selection along with earning his team’s MVP award.
Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Ernie ’71 and Leslie Palmieri. His brother, Glenn ’03, was a letter winner in lacrosse and was an all-conference goalie on the men’s soccer team, ranking fifth all-time at Ithaca in wins (22) and shutouts (13).
