Biography
2004: Slack started all 16 games, ranking third on the team with 38 points on 25 goals and 13 assists. He also collected 32 ground balls. He posted a career-high five points twice on three goals and two assists in wins over Scranton and Alfred. Slack also scored three goals in wins over Rensselaer, St. John Fisher (including the game-winner) and Utica. In a 15-10 win over RIT, Slack collected six ground balls. He was a solid contributor to an offense that ranked seventh nationally in scoring.
2003: Slack played in 12 games, collecting 14 points on nine goals and five assists. In the first game of the season he scored two goals and added an assist in a win over Scranton. He also added three points in wins over Lycoming, St. John Fisher and Utica. He was a member of an offense that ranked third in the nation in scoring.
2001: Slack played in 15 games, collecting 14 points on four goals and 10 assists. His first career point was an assist in a victory over King’s Point. Against Elmira he collected his first career goal and recorded a career-high four points.
High School: Slack played for his father, Jeffery Slack, at Massena Central High School. He was a first-team all-Northern League selection. The league’s rookie of the year in 1996 and MVP in 1998, he qualified for the Empire State Games both years. Slack also played one season of lacrosse for coach Mike Fuller at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, Maine.
Personal: A physical education major, he is the son of Jeffery ’74 and Martha Slack.
