Tim Pendergast

    Assistant Coach (Defensive Backs)
Pendergast is entering his first season as a member of the Ithaca coaching staff. He will work with Bombers’ defensive players and will be responsible for scouting Ithaca’s opponents.
 
Pendergast began his coaching career at Ithaca as a graduate assistant with the football team in 1980, helping guide the Bombers to their second straight Stagg Bowl. He was the head football coach at Hamilton in 2000 before being named the head football coach at Cornell; he led the Bid Red for three seasons. His career includes assistant positions at Cornell, Northwestern, Maine, James Madison and Memphis.
 
A 1980 Cortland graduate, Pendergast earned a masters degree in physical education from Ithaca in 1986. He also serves as the secondary coach with the Bomber football team.
