Biography

2004: Chagares played in 15 games for the Bombers. He collected 15 ground balls, including three in a win at Elmira. He was part of a defense that ranked 19th nationally, giving up 7.5 goals per game.

2002-03: A transfer from 2003 NJCAA national champion Herkimer County Community College, Chagares was a  two-time academic all-American. He collected 11 points on eight goals and three assists and was a team leader in ground balls. Chagares was a part of Herkimer’s 18th and 19th regional championships.

High School: At Clarkstown High School South, Chagares was a four-year letter winner for coach Bob Speath. He was an all-county and all-section selection.

Personal: A physical education major, he is the son of Constantine and Robin Chagares.
