2019-20
In the fall of 2019, MacNaughton rowed at the Head of Genesee in the M2V8+ with a 1st place finish. Several weeks later he rowed in the MV4+ at the Head of the Schuylkill finishing 13th out of 40 boats.

2018-19
Starting the 2018-19-year strong MacNaughton  rowed to 2nd place in the M2V8+ at the Head of the Genesee. Spring 2019 he rowed in the MV4+ which rowed to a 5th place finish at the NY State Collegiate Championship. His second spring season ended with a 6th place finish at NIRC in Worcester, MA.

2017-18
MacNaughton began his Bomber career in the Men’s Novice Eight where he contributed to a Second-Place Finish at the NIRC Championship (5/11)... A Second-Place Finish at the New York State Championship Regatta (5/5)... Part of the Novice Eight boat that came in Second-Place in five-team final hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (4/21)...

High School
MacNaughton graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School where he played tennis. During his prep career, he earned a varsity letter, and placed fourth in the men’s doubles at the state championship.

Personal
Ruben, an Exploratory major, is the son of MK MacNaughton, Susan Haymes, & Rorie Watt.
