2019-2020
Morean competed in their first season on the Ithaca Sculling team, earning a fourth-place finish in the Collegiate Double at Small Boat Challenge in Mercer, NJ (10/5) and first-place finish in the quad at Head of the Fish in Saratoga Springs, NY (10/26). They also contributed to a fifth-place finish in the Collegiate Eight at Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, MA (10/20).
The spring season was cut short after a week of rowing in Gainesville, GA that concluded with a scrimmage against Penn State and Catholic University. Morean rowed seven seat in the Second Varsity Eight, contributing to a second-place finish, right behind the IC First Varsity Eight.
2018-2019
Morean raced in the Collegiate Eight at Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Mass. (10/21), earning a fourth-place finish. During the spring season, they split time between the First and Second Varsity Eight Boats. They contributed to a first-place finish in the First Varsity Eight Petite Final at Knecht Cup in Cherry Hill, N.J., earning a Liberty League Boat of the Week honor (4/14). Morean rowed in the Second Varsity Eight at the Liberty League Championship in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (5/3), earning a first-place finish and Team Championship title. At the New York State Championship in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (5/4), their boat earned a second-place finish in the Second Varsity Eight, and contributed to the team winning the Team Points Trophy. Morean contributed to a first-place finish in the Second Varsity Eight Petite Final at the NIRC Regatta in Worcester, Mass. (5/12). Their boat earned a first-place finish in the Second Varsity Eight Petite Final and contributed to a fifth-place team finish at the NCAA Championship in Indianapolis, Ind. (6/1).
2017-18
Morean was a key rower in the Women’s Novice Eight during their Bomber debut. In their first season, Morean contributed to a second-place finish, with a time of 8:28.628 at the New York State Championships (5/5)... And a second-place finish, with a time of 7:06.15 at the NIRC Women’s Championships (5/11)... And was named as part of the Liberty League Novice Crew of the Year...
High School
Morean attended Red Lodge High School where they earned two varsity letters in basketball her senior season. Morean also ran cross country for one year, and played volleyball, where they won the Montana State Championship two years in a row their freshman and sophomore years, and earned a varsity letter. Morean also competed in the Operation Second Chance Raw Powerlifting Benefit where they won the Heaviest Bench Press for 2016.
