2019-20
In the fall of 2019, Maines rowed at the Head of Genesee in the M2V8+ with a 1st place finish. One week later he rowed in the winning boat at the annual Freeman Cup Intrasquads. Several weeks later he competed at the Head of the Schuylkill in the MV4+ finishing 13th out of 40 boats, just a few hours later Ethan went back out in the M2V8+ pulling hard once again that day getting 10th out of 36 boats.

2018-19
Starting the 2018-19-year strong Maines rowed to 2nd place in the M2V8+ at the Head of the Genesee. Spring 2019 he rowed in the M2V8+ which won Liberty League boat of the week twice, in addition to getting 2nd place at the Liberty League Championship and 1st place at the NY State Collegiate Championship. His second spring season ended with an 8th place finish at NIRC in Worcester, MA.

2017-18
Maines kicked off his Bomber career in the Men’s Novice Eight where he contributed to a Second-Place Finish at the NIRC Championship (5/11)... A Second-Place Finish at the New York State Championship Regatta (5/5)... Part of the Novice Eight boat that came in Second-Place in five-team final hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (4/21)...

High School
Maines graduated from City Honors where he rowed for four years and earned three varsity letters, while coached by Dan Sullivan and George Spragins.

Personal
Ethan, a Sport Management major, is the son of Carey Miller & Andrew Maines.
