2017-18As a captain, Stamer was a key rower in the Men’s Varsity Eight. During his junior campaign he contributed to a Sixth-Place Finish in the Petite Final at the NIRC Championship (5/11)... A Fourth-Place Finish at the New York State Championship Regatta (5/5)... Part of Varsity Eight boat that came in Third-Place in five-team final hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (4/21)... and was a member of the Liberty League Boat of the Week in the spring after a triumph over St. Lawrence at home (4/16)...
2016-17
Stamer rowed in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight and the Varsity Four during his sophomore campaign where he contributed to second-place finishes at the Braxton Memorial Regatta in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight and the Men’s Varsity Four (11/14)... Contributed a first-place finish in the Men’s Varsity Eight at the Frostbite Regatta (11/13)... And helped the Men’s Varsity Eight seal a second-place finish at the Head of the Genesee Regatta (10/9)... And a pair of impressive races at the Challenge on the Canal with a second-place finish in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight and a first-place win in the Men’s Varsity Eight (10/1)...
2015-16
Stamer kicked off his Bomber debuit in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight where he contributed to a Third-Place finish in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight at the New York State Championship (4/30).
High School
Stamer graduated from Tunkhannock Area High School where he earned four varsity letters, and won the district championship in soccer, and earned three varsity letters in basketball and track & field.
Personal
Eric, a Physical Therapy major, is the son of Mark & Barbara Stamer.
