2019-20
Shyne opened his senior campaign for Ithaca at the Head of Genesee in the M2V8+ for a 1st place finish. Several weeks later he competed at the Head of the Schuylkill in the M2V8+ getting 10th out of 36 boats.

2018-19
Shyne’s junior campaign began with a MV8+ 1st place victory at the Head of the Genesee. In the spring he rowed in the M2V8+ getting 2nd place at the Liberty League Championship and 1st place at the NY State Collegiate Championship. His junior spring season ended with an 8th place finish at NIRC in Worcester, MA.

2017-18
Shyne rowed consistently in the Men’s Varsity Eight during his sophomore campaign where he contributed to a Sixth-Place Finish in the Petite Final at the NIRC Championship (5/11)... A Fourth-Place Finish at the New York State Championship Regatta (5/5)... Part of Varsity Eight boat that came in Third-Place in five-team final hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (4/21)... He was also part of the crew that was named the Liberty League Boat of the Week for their Third-Place finish at the Head of the Fish (10/30)... and was a member of the Liberty League Boat of the Week again in the spring after a triumph over St. Lawrence at home (4/16)...

2016-17
Shyne rowed in many different lineups during his novice campaign. In the fall, he contributed to a Third-Place finish at the Head of the Genesee (10/9)... and a Second-Place finish at the Frostbite Regatta (11/13)... In the spring, he was in the Varsity Eight group that won both heats in six-team event hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (4/22)... and earned a Second-Place finish at the New York State Championship in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight, and contributed to a win in the Men’s Open Weigh Coxed Four (5/6)… and came in Third-Place in the Petite Final at the NIRC Championship (5/12)...

High School
Shyne graduated from Central Catholic High School where he earned varsity letters for basketball and track. During his high school career, he won four straight regional basketball titles.
