2022-23
Colin returns to the men's varsity eight this season. At the Head of the Charles, the 1V placed 19th overall with a final time of 15:06.84.

2021-22
Colin was a member of the men's 1V eight, which placed first at the New York State Rowing Championships in May with a final time of 6:06.00.

2019-20
In the fall of 2019 Colin rowed at the Head of Genesee in the MV8+ with a 1st place finish. Two weeks later he competed at the Head of the Charles in Ithaca’s MV8+ pulling hard for a top half finish of 10th place out of 38 boats. He then rowed to a 4th place finish at the Head of Schuylkill one week later.
 
2018-19
Colin started his career at Ithaca in the MN8+ at the Head of the Genesee in 2018 with a first-place victory. Colin was part of the Freeman Cup winning boat in the fall of 2018. For spring 2019 he rowed in the M2V8+ which won Liberty League boat of the week twice, in addition to getting 2nd place at the Liberty League Championship and 1st place at the NY State Collegiate Championship. His first spring season ended with an 8th place finish at NIRC in Worcester, MA.
 
High School
Colin was a diver his freshman year at W.T. Woodson High School, and a rower from his sophomore year on. He was a scholar athlete throughout his high school career.
 
Personal
Colin is a Business Administration major from Fairfax, Virginia. Colin is the son of Jaki and Donald McCarthy.
