2019-20
Meir opened his senior campaign for Ithaca at the Head of Charles with the MV8+ leading them to a 10th place finish out of 36 boats, one of Ithaca’s best results at the Charles in many years. One week later he competed at the Head of the Schuylkill in the MV4+ finishing 13th out of 40 boats, just a few hours later Cameron went back out in the M2V8+ steering his second crew of the day down the course getting 10th out of 36 boats.

2018-19
Meir’s junior campaign began with a MV8+ 1st place victory at the Head of the Genesee. In the spring he coxed the M2V8+ getting 2nd place at the Liberty League Championship and 1st place at the NY State Collegiate Championship. His junior spring season ended with an 8th place finish at NIRC in Worcester, MA.


2017-18
Meir was the coxswain of the Men’s Second Varsity Eight and the Men’s Varsity Four during his sophomore campaign where he coxed his boat to a First-Place Finish in the Petite Final at the NIRC Championship (5/11)... A Sixth-Place Finish at the New York State Championship Regatta (5/5)...

2016-17
During his Bomber debuit, Meir coxed the Men’s Novice Four boat that won both heats in six-team event hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (4/22)... and won the New York State Collegiate Rowing Championship (5/6)... He also coxed his crew to two Second-Place Finishes at the Braxton Memorial Regatta in the Men’s Varsity Four, and the Men’s Novice Eight (11/13)...

High School
Meir graduated from Walter Johnson High School where he was both a rower and a coxswain. He was coached by Davis Bales and Andrew Lalley. He had many successful races in his high school career which include back-to-back First-Place finishes at the 2015 and 2016 Maryland State Championship in the Men’s Varsity Four, and a First-Place finish at NSRA in the Men’s JV Eight. Meir also had a Second-Place finish at the Stotesbury Cup in the Men’s Senior Four, and a Third-Place finish in the Men’s Senior Four at the SRAA Regatta. During his prep career, he earned the Man of the Oar Award and Most Valuable Rower.
