2019-20
McCabe opened his senior campaign for Ithaca rowing at the Head of Genesee in the MV8+ with a 1st place finish. Two weeks later he competed at the Head of the Charles in Ithaca’s MV8+ pulling hard for a top half finish of 10th place out of 38 boats. He then rowed to a 4th place finish at the Head of Schuylkill one week later.

2018-19
McCabe's junior campaign began with a MV8+ 1st place victory at the Head of the Genesee. In the spring he rowed in the MV8+ getting 3rd place at the Liberty League Championship and 3rd place at the NY State Collegiate Championship. His junior spring season ended with a 12th place finish at NIRC in Worcester, MA.

2017-18
McCabe was a key rower in the Men’s Varsity Eight during his sophomore campaign where he contributed to a Sixth-Place Finish in the Petite Final at the NIRC Championship (5/11)... A Fourth-Place Finish at the New York State Championship Regatta (5/5)... Part of Varsity Eight boat that came in Third-Place in five-team final hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (4/21)... He was also part of the crew that was named the Liberty League Boat of the Week for their Third-Place finish at the Head of the Fish (10/30)... McCabe was a member of the Liberty League Boat of the Week again in the spring after a triumph over St. Lawrence at home (4/16)...

2016-17
McCabe kicked off his Bomber debuit in the Second Varsity Eight. In his first year, his boat group won both heats in six-team event hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (4/22)...

High School
McCabe graduated from Chatham High School where he earned four varsity letters in swimming, and one varsity letter for both track and field, and cross country. During his high school career, he won the sectional championship in swimming.

Andrew, a Chemistry major, is the son of Kate & Terry McCabe.
