2019-20
Nasta opened his senior campaign for Ithaca rowing at the Head of Genesee in the MV8+ with a 1st place finish. One-week later Adam captained the Freeman Cup Intrasquad winning boat. One more weekend after he competed at the Head of the Charles in Ithaca’s MV8+ pulling hard for a top half finish of 10th place out of 38 boats. He then rowed to a 4th place finish at the Head of Schuylkill one more week later.
2018-19
Nasta’s junior campaign began with a MV8+ 1st place victory at the Head of the Genesee. In the spring he rowed in the MV8+ getting 3rd place at the Liberty League Championship and 3rd place at the NY State Collegiate Championship. His junior spring season ended with a 12th place finish at NIRC in Worcester, MA.
2017-18
Nasta returned to the Men’s Varsity Eight for his sophomore campaign where he contributed to a First-Place Finish at the Braxton Memorial Regatta in the Men’s Varsity Eight, and the Men’s Varsity Four (11/13)... He was also part of the crew that was named the Liberty League Boat of the Week for their Third-Place finish at the Head of the Fish (10/30)...
2016-17
Nasta kicked off his Bomber debuit in the Men’s Novice Eight where he contributed to a Third-Place finish at the Head of the Genesee and a Second-Place finish at the Frostbite Regatta. During the spring season, he was promoted to the Men’s Varsity Eight where he contributed to a Fourth-Place finish at the New York State Collegiate Rowing Championship (5/6)... and a Fifth-Place finish in the Petite Final at the NIRC Championship (5/13)...
High School
Nasta graduated from Hershey High School where he was a member of the soccer, swimming, and cross country teams. During his high school career, he earned a varsity letter in swimming.
Personal
Adam, a Business Administration major, is the son of Emily Grun & John Nasta.
