Biography

2005: Castellano played in all but one game, starting the last nine at defensive tackle. He was named the team’s Outstanding Lineman after the win at Springfield, finishing with a career-best seven tackles, including two for loss. He made his first career start in the win over #17 St. John Fisher and collected five tackles, including his first career sack, a week later in the Brockport win. Castellano recorded six tackles in the Utica win, with two tackles for loss (including a sack).
 
2004: Castellano played in four games as a backup defensive tackle. He was named Ithaca’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the win over Alfred.

2003: As a freshman, Castellano was a member of the Bomber junior varsity team.

High School: A 2003 graduate of West Islip High School, Castellano was coached by Jim Dooley. He was named the team’s most valuable lineman and was an all-county pick.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Thomas and Leslie Castellano.
