Biography

 2008: O’Malley played in all but one game. He made his first career start in the NCAA playoff game against Curry. He was one of the team’s top kickoff returners, averaging 18.4 yards per runback. Four of his returns set up Bomber touchdowns, including his career-long 26-yard effort in the win at King’s. O’Malley averaged a season-best 21 yards per return in the season-opening win over Lycoming. He also caught his first career pass in that win.

2007: O’Malley earned his first varsity letter after playing in six games as a reserve wide receiver and special teams contributor. He was selected Ithaca’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the Hartwick and Springfield games. O’Malley was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.

2006: O’Malley spent his freshman season with the junior varsity team.  

High School: A 2006 graduate of Stroudsburg High School, O’Malley was coached by Fred Ross. He earned first-team all-area and all-conference honors. As a senior he served as team captain and was named team MVP. 

Personal: A clinical science/physical therapy major, he is the son of Kevin and Wendy O’Malley. His brother Brendan is a baseball player at East Stroudsburg.
