Ithaca College Athletics

2006: Lieber ranked among the team’s leaders in pass break-ups despite being sidelined for four games. He made four starts including the season-opener against Huntingdon when he recorded season-best totals of eight tackles and two pass break-ups. Lieber forced a Bengal fumble in the win over Buffalo State.

 

2005: Lieber played in seven games, starting  four times. He led the team with six passes broke up. He made his first career start in the Norwich win and collected three tackles and broke up a pass. He was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Back after that game and again after the shutout at Utica, when he made three tackles and broke up two passes. Lieber returned to the starting lineup for the Cortland game and finished with four tackles, two pass break-ups and a forced fumble. He made a career-best nine tackles in the Brockport win

 

2004: Lieber spent his freshman season playing on Ithaca’s junior varsity team. He was named the team’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the Cortaca Jug victory at Cortland.

High School: A 2004 graduate of Hinsdale Central High School, Lieber was coached by Tony Lombardi. He earned all-conference and all-area recognition and received honorable mention to the all-state team.

Personal: A sport management major, he is the son of Larry and Susan Lieber.
