Biography

2006: Lake moved to linebacker and played in all but one game. His blocked punt against #14 Springfield was recovered for a Bomber touchdown and he was named the team’s Outstanding Specialist following that win. He made a career-best three tackles –including his first career sack – in the Hartwick victory and matched that total in the win at Norwich. Lake also forced a fumble in the Norwich win. His six tackles in kick coverage tied for second on the team.

2005: Lake played in the last eight games as a back-up safety and special teams contributor, earning his first letter. He made his first career tackle in the win over Brockport. In the shutout over Utica he collected a solo tackle and recorded his first career interception.
 
2004: Lake spent his freshman season playing on Ithaca’s junior varsity team. He was named the Bombers’ Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the Brockport game.

High School: A 2004 graduate of Corinth High School, Lake was coached by Greg Baker and Jeff Higgins (a 1997 Ithaca graduate who was an all-American kick returner for the Bombers). He was named the team MVP and was selected for the Section II all-star game.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Stephen and Yong Lake.
