Ithaca College Athletics

2007: McDonnell was a back-up offensive tackle during his first season with the varsity.

2006: McDonnell won Ithaca’s Marty Higgins Award, given to the most outstanding player on the junior varsity team. He was named Ithaca’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week after the win over Norwich.

High School: A 2006 graduate of Saranac Lake High School, McDonnell was coached by Mark Farmer. He was a first-team conference all-star and was named Saranac Lake's lineman of the year.

Personal: A television-radio major, he is the son of Brian and Deborah McDonnell. He is also a thrower with Ithaca’s track & field team.
