Ithaca College Athletics

2006: Bostic moved from tight end to wide receiver and ranked fourth among the team’s wideouts in receptions. He caught a pair of passes – including his first career reception – in the Buffalo State win. Bostic caught a career-best three passes in the Hartwick victory. His longest catch of the season (a 28-yard pick-up) set up a Bomber touchdown in the win at Brockport.

 

2005: Bostic played in three games with the varsity. He was named Ithaca’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the wins over St. John Fisher and Utica.

 

High School: A 2005 graduate of Geneva High School, Bostic was coached by Dave Whitcomb, a 1973 Ithaca graduate. He was a team captain and a second-team all-league selection. Bostic was also first-team all-league in basketball and track & field and was named Geneva High Athlete of the Year.

Personal: A television-radio major, he is the son of Jeff Bostic and Brenda Bostic. As a forward on the men’s basketball team he was named MVP of the 2006 ECAC Upstate NY tournament after helping the Bombers to the championship and earned first-team Empire 8 honors last season.
