Biography

2005: Blessing won Ithaca’s Marty Higgins Award, given to the junior varsity team’s top player. He was named Ithaca’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week after the win at Hartwick.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Oneida High School, Blessing was coached by Bill Carinci. He was second-team all-state, second-team all-central New York, all-Mohawk Valley and first-team all-league.

Personal: A clinical science/physical therapy major, he is the son of Jeff and Laura Blessing. His brother, Ryan, is a junior on the Cornell football team.
