Biography

 
2008: Witbeck played in every game as Ithaca’s starting fullback. He led the team’s backs with 20 catches and averaged 8.4 yards per reception. He caught a career-high four passes in the win over Frostburg State and matched that total in the Cortaca Jug win over the seventh-ranked Red Dragons. Witbeck was named the Bombers’ Hustler of the Week after the win over Hartwick. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.

2007: Witbeck played in every game at fullback. He made his first career start in the win over King’s and caught a pair of passes. He scored his first career touchdown in the victory over Utica on just his second carry of the season. Witbeck was named Ithaca’s Hustler of the Week after the St. John Fisher game. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.

2007 game-by-game statistics

2006: Witbeck played in six games as a back-up fullback and special teams contributor. His first career carry came in the win at Norwich. He made a pair of tackles in kick coverage in that game as well. Witbeck was one of eight Ithaca freshmen to earn a varsity letter. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester and spring semesters.
