Tim Pendergast

Former Hamilton College and Cornell University head coach Tim Pendergast is in his first year as a full-time member of the Bomber coaching staff.
 
Pendergast, who began his coaching career at Ithaca as a graduate assistant in 1980 (when he was part of a staff that helped the Bombers reach the Stagg Bowl for the second straight season), served as head coach at Hamilton in 2000 before Cornell named him head coach; he led the Big Red for three seasons. His career also includes time as an assistant at Cornell, Northwestern, Maine, James Madison and Memphis.
 
A graduate of Cortland, Pendergast earned a master’s from Ithaca in 1986.  In addition to his football duties, Pendergast is an assistant coach with the Bomber men’s lacrosse team.
