Mark Licwinko

2005: Licwinko started the season’s first six games at defensive end. He posted career-high totals of eight tackles and three tackles for loss in the win over #17 St. John Fisher and was named Ithaca’s Honorary Defensive Captain. He also earned that award following the Lycoming game, after recording five tackles, including two for loss. Licwinko picked up two sacks in the Norwich win and leads the team’s defensive linemen with three pass break-ups, despite missing four games.
 
2004: In his first season with the varsity, Licwinko played in every game and made his first career start in the win over #20 Springfield. He collected a career-best five tackles in that game. In his varsity debut, he collected a pair of solo sacks and recovered a fumble in the win over Buffalo State. Licwinko recorded a sack in the victory at Norwich, forcing a fumble on the play that he recovered himself to set up an Ithaca touchdown. He was named the team’s Hustler of the Week after that game.

2003: Licwinko spent his freshman season with the junior varsity team.

High School: At North Penn High School, Licwinko was coached by Richard Beck.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Susan Cooney.
