Biography

2008: DeForest was moved to the secondary and spent the season as a back-up strong safety. He was named Ithaca’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the win over Springfield.

2007: DeForest was a reserve linebacker for the Bombers.

2006: DeForest earned a midseason call-up from Ithaca’s junior varsity team and made his varsity debut in the Empire 8 win at Norwich. 

2006 game-by-game statistics

High School: A 2006 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, DeForest was coached by Paul Muench. DeForest was a three-time all-league pick and a two-year team captain. He earned second-team all-Central New York honors as a senior.
 
Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Robert and Jennifer DeForest.
