Biography

2007: Darcey returned to the Bombers as a reserve safety. He was named Ithaca’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the season-opening victory at Lycoming.

2006: Darcey was sidelined with an injury.

2005: Darcey spent his freshman season with the junior varsity team. He was named Ithaca’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the win over Brockport.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Darcey was coached by Greg Sirico. A team captain as a senior, was named special teams MVP and was a New York State Scholar-Athlete selection.

Personal: A business administration major with a concentration in marketing and sport studies, he is the son of Mike and Joyce Darcey. He is also a member of Ithaca’s track & field team, qualifying for the state championship meet in the javelin throw. His brother Ryan is a linebacker at Division I-AA Fordham.
