Biography

2014: Pfeifle played in and started all 16 of Ithaca’s games in the 2014 season. She anchored a Bomber defense that allowed only 1.56 goals per game. Pfeifle finished the year with two defensive saves.

2013: Pfeifle started in 17 of Ithaca’s games in 2013. She was part of a defensive unit that was among the best in the conference, allowing just 2.00 goals per contest. Pfeifle led the Bombers with three defensive saves on the year.

2012: Pfeifle recorded 18 starts, making her one of only four Bombers to start every game. She registered two shots. 

2011: Pfeifle was an immediate contributor to the Bomber defense as a freshman. She played in all 16 games and made 15 starts.

High School: Sarah is a graduate of Franklin High School. She earned three varsity letters in field hockey at Franklin under coaches Michelle Hess and Lisa Cropper.  As a midfielder/back, Sarah  was named Franklin's defensive MVP in her senior season under after earning the team's Unsung Hero honors in 2009. She also earned one varsity letter in swimming under coach Colleen Flood, swimming the freestyle event as a senior. 

Personal: Pfeifle is an environmental science major and is the daughter of Thomas and Hope Pfeifle.
