2013: Kennedy started in all 18 of the Bombers’ games in 2013. She was named to the All-Empire 8 Second Team, her first all-conference selection, after finishing the season with 10 goals on 27 shots. Her goal count and point total (20) both ranked second on the team and marked new career highs. Kennedy also scored five game-winning goals on the year, a total that ranked first in the conference. She was named Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals in a win over Hartwick on Nov. 2.
2012: Kennedy started in 16 games during her junior campaign. Her three goals and six points each ranked in the top five on the team, while her 38 shots on goal ranked third.Â
2011: Kennedy played in all 16 games during her sophomore season and made 15 starts in the midfield. She finished the year with four goals and one assist for nine points. Her four goals ranked tied for second-best on the team, and two of those goals were game-winners in Ithaca's victories over Oswego and Morrisville.
2010: Kennedy was an immediate contributor to the Ithaca team as a freshman. She played in all 15 games and made 12 starts. Kennedy had a goal and two assists as a midfielder for four points. Her first-career goal came in Ithaca's win over Oswego, and she also had an assist in that game.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse, Kennedy played five years of varsity field hockey for coach Pat Kennedy and was a three-year starter. Kennedy earned first-team all-league honors in her junior and senior seasons, was a team captain and scholar-athlete. She also competed in varsity lacrosse and track & field.
Personal: A physical therapy major, Katie is the daughter of John and Karen Kennedy.
