Biography

2004: Howe was second on the team with a .237 opponent batting average and third on the squad with four wins and two complete games. His 41 innings pitched and 20 strikeouts both ranked fourth on the team. He threw 6.1 innings to eliminate #15 Cortland from the NCAA playoffs, allowing seven hits. In a 1-0 win over Skidmore, Howe pitched a seven-inning shutout, striking out six and allowing just two hits and one walk.

2002-03: Howe played two seasons at Alfred State where he was coached by Tom Kenney. Howe was a pitcher and outfielder for the Pioneers, who won the 2003 regional crown.

High School: At Owego Free Academy, Howe was coached by Jon Ayres.

Personal: A health science major, he is the son of James Howe and the late Corinne Howe.
