High School: Bermel attended Abington High School, where she earned four varsity letters under head coach Dan Marsh. She served as team captain during her senior season. Bermel also earned two varsity letters in volleyball and one in soccer.
Personal: Breanna, daughter of Patricia Bermel and Donald Solomon, is a biology major.
