Biography
2013-14: Junior Allison Vizgaitis was one of three Ithaca players to earn all-conference nods in both singles and doubles play. She was an Empire 8 first-team selection in both singles and doubles. Vizgaitis posted a 14-7 overall record in singles play and was 6-0 in dual matches in singles, playing the second, third and fourth singles positions. She was 14-8 overall in doubles play, primarily paired with Alyssa Steinweis, as that duo was 12-6 overall. With 28 overall wins, Vizgaitis ranked third on the team in overall victories. These are the third and fourth Empire 8 all-conference honors in Vizgaitis' career.
2012-13: Vizgaitis was an Empire 8 second-team selection in doubles during her sophomore year. She went 11-7 in singles play as a sophomore for the Bombers, including a 6-0 Empire 8 record. She also recorded 11 wins and eight losses overall for doubles with an 11-5 record in dual matches. Vizagaitis was also chosen as the Bombers' representative on the Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year Team for competing with honor and integrity.
2011-12: Vizgaitis earned her first-career Empire 8 all-conference honor by garnering honorable mention in doubles. She went 8-14 overall in singles play and 11-11 in doubles play during her freshman campaign as a Bomber.
2011-12 Match-By-Match StatisticsHigh School: A 2011 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, Vizgaitis played five years of varsity tennis for Coach Phil Rudolph. Her high school program never lost a dual match during her career, and she earned Section III all-star honors.
Personal: A psychology major, Allison is the daughter of Aloysius and Thalia Vizgaitis.
