Biography

2012: Norland started all 18 games for the Bombers, making him one of five players on the roster to start every contest. Norland earned a spot on the Empire 8 All-Conference First Team after guiding a defense that held opponents to just 17 goals all season. Norland also had one goal and one assist on the year.

2011: Norland was an Empire 8 Honorable Mention selection as a junior and also was selected to the Empire 8 Sportsperson of the Year team. He appeared in all 15 games and made 14 starts. His lone goal was a game-winner against St. John Fisher. He also recorded two assists and took 14 total shots. | 2011 Game-by-game statistics

2010: Norland started 14 games and played in 15, notching one assist and four shots, including two on goal. | 2010 Game-by-game statistics

2009: Norland made five starts and appeared in 13 games as a freshman back. He started four games in which Ithaca shutout its opponent. He recorded an assist, his first career point, in a win over Fitchburg State. | 2009 Game-by-game statistics

High School: A 2009 graduate of East Brunswick High School, Norland was coached by Terry McKibben. He was a two-year letter winner as a center midfielder and also played volleyball. He was named scholar-athlete of the year as a senior and was the junior athlete of the year as well as being named team MVP as a freshman.

Personal: A physical therapy major, he is the son of Dave and Jean Norland.
