Biography
2009-10: Gendimenico swam butterfly events as a junior, and his time of 2:07.56 at the state championship meet ranked second among Ithaca swimmers during the 2009-10 season. He also competed in the 200-yard individual medley at the state meet.
2008-09: Gendimenico contributed in butterfly events as a sophomore.
2007-08: Gendimenico earned a varsity letter as a freshman and contributed in the individual medley events. He finished in the top 20 in both IMs at the Empire 8 Championships, placing 11th in the 400-yard individual medley in 4:43.56 and 17th in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:11.66.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Hillsborough High School, Gendimenico was coached by Todd Sudd. He earned four varsity letters and served as team captain his senior year. Gendimenico led his team to four consecutive sectional championships and one state title.
Personal: A sport studies major, he is the son or Gerry and Eileen Gendimenico.
