Ithaca College Athletics

2009-10: Kennedy swam on Ithaca's 400-yard freestyle relay team that earned All-UNYSCSA honors (second place) and also finished second in the Empire 8. Kennedy was on the 800-free relay that placed fourth at the state meet. Kennedy also swam in sprint freestyle events.

2008-09: Kennedy was a strong contributor in freestyle events and swam on All-UNYSCSA teams in the 400- and 800-yard freestyle relays. The 400 free relay also finished second in the Empire 8. Individually, she ranks among the top-15 all-time at Ithaca in the 100 free and 200 free, and is on three relay teams that rank among the five fastest in those events.

2007-08: Kennedy helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team win NYSWCAA and Empire 8 titles. She also earned all-state honors with three other relay teams: the 200-yard freestyle (fourth place), 100-yard freestyle (sixth) and 800-yard freestyle (eighth).

High School: A 2007 graduate of Head Royce High School, Kennedy was coached by Lauren Rally. She was a four-year letter winner as a member of the swimming & diving team and served as team captain her senior year. An all-league performer, she was named team MVP three times and was the recipient of the team’s Most Inspirational award.

Personal: A clinical health studies/physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Mack and Carol Kennedy.
