Biography

2012-13 Stats

2011-12: Connors competed in the season-opening Ithaca Invitational, winning two of his three bouts. He started off his season by pinning his first opponent, then recorded a shutout in a 4-0 decision.

2010-11: Connors competed in two tournaments and one dual match as a Bomber sophomore. He recorded a pair of falls in his collegiate debut, going 3-2 at York’s New Standard Corporate Invitational. Connors also pinned his first-round opponent at the New York State Championships. He finished the season 4-4 and was named to the ECWC All-Academic Team.

2009-10: Connors won 15 matches with five wins coming by major decisions and four by fall. Only two Bombers recorded more major decisions and his victory and pin totals were both second among Ithaca newcomers. Connors went 5-2 in dual-match competition. He placed fifth at York’s Spartan Classic, helping the Bombers win the team championship.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Lowell High School, Connors was coached by Tim O’Keefe. He won state and New England titles as a senior. Connors attended Phillips Exeter Academy for a postgraduate year and was a member of the wrestling and rowing teams. A prep school Class A and New England champion, he took seventh at the prep school national meet.

Personal: A finance major, he is the son of James Connors and Diane Hooper.
