Biography
2011-12: Kenton served as a team captain during his senior season. He swam in sprint freestyle events and relays.
2010-11: As a junior, Kenton swam freestyle and backstroke events.
2009-10: Kenton contributed in sprint freestyle events as a sophomore. He participated in the UNYSCSA meet in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle. Kenton's time of 22.64 seconds in the 50 free was Ithaca's third-fastest of the season.
2008-09: Kenton swam freestyle events as a freshman.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Milford High School, he was coached by Doug Yeager. He was a four-year letter winner and was named to the All Henloper Conference First Team twice. He also lettered in football and lacrosse.
Personal: A physical therapy major, he is the son of Rick and Kim Kenton.
