Ithaca College Athletics

2011-12: Costello was the Empire 8 and UNYSCSA Diver of the Meet after winning both the conference and state championships on the 3-meter board with a score of 475.45, which is an Ithaca school record. She also holds the record for six dives on 3-meter with a score of 291.05. Costello placed second on 1-meter at the UNYSCSA / Empire 8 meet. She earned Empire 8 Athlete of the Week honors for the week ending Feb. 27.

2010-11: Costello was named Empire 8 Diver of the Year and also captured Diver of the Meet honors at the Empire 8 championships as a junior. She placed first at the state and conference meet on the 3-meter board and was eighth on the 1-meter board.

2009-10: Costello earned all-state recognition for the second year in a row in both diving events at the championship meet, and was a national qualifier and competed in both diving events at the NCAA championship meet. Costello placed second in the state and Empire 8 on the 3-meter board with a score of 429.95 points, the highest total all season by a Bomber. She was third in the state on the 1-meter board with a score of 371.85 points.

2008-09: Costello earned all-state honors on both diving boards as a freshman. She was third in the state on the 3-meter board and eighth in the 1-meter diving event.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Framingham High School, she earned three letters in cross country and one letter in track & field. She was also the captain of the dance team.

Personal: The daughter of Margaret and Doug Costello, she is a communications major.
