Biography
2012: Palladino led the Bombers with 36 points on a team-leading 16 goals and four assists, earning her Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Year accolades for the third-straight season in 2012. She became the first in Empire 8 women's soccer history to earn the award three consecutive years. Palladino has been named to the All-Empire 8 First Team all four years of her career. She was named a District 3 All-Academic First-Team selection and was selected to the Empire 8 Championship All-Tournament Team. The recipient of the Carnell Senior Athlete of the Year Award, Palladino concluded her career as Ithaca's all-time career leader in points and goals. She scored 149 points on 63 goals and 23 assists. Her assists rank fourth in program history. She was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) College Division Scholar All-America First Team, the NSCAA College Division Scholar All-East Region First Team and earned NSCAA First Team All-America honors. 2011: Palladino enjoyed a spectacular season, earning first-team all-America honors from the NSCAA and second-team recognition from d3soccer.com. She was the first Bomber named to the NSCAA’s first team since 1994. Palladino became the second Bomber to reach 100 career points and moved into second on the program’s all-time lists for points and goals, while finishing her third season tied for fifth in career assists and third in game-winning goals. She was named Empire 8 and ECAC Upstate NY Offensive Player of the Year and was the Ithaca Journal’s selection as Female Athlete of the Year. She garnered first-team accolades from the ECAC and Empire 8 and was named to the NCAA’s final four all-tournament team. Palladino was a two-time Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Year, picking up the award after collecting five points in victories against Rensselaer and St. John Fisher and again following her natural hat trick in Ithaca’s win over Utica. Palladino’s 37 points and 15 goals both were the program’s sixth-highest single-season total. 2010: A third-team NSCAA All-American and a first-team NSCAA East Region all-star, Palladino led the Bombers in scoring with 20 goals. Also adding five assists, Palladino recorded eight game-winning goals on the season. The Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Year, she earned first-team all-Empire 8 honors after tallying three conference offensive player of the week nods throughout the season. She twice scored hat tricks in scoring four goals in a 6-0 victory at Utica and a trio of scores in a victory over Hartwick. 2009: The Empire 8 and ECAC Upstate NY Rookie of the Year, Palladino’s 12 goals, seven assists and 31 points all set records for Bomber freshmen. She was named a first-team Empire 8 and ECAC all-star and earned second-team all-region recognition. Palladino scored her first career point against defending national champion Messiah – the first goal the Falcons had surrendered in 795 minutes. Palladino exploded for six points on two goals and two assists against Misericordia in her next outing and recorded multi-goal efforts in two other wins, collecting both Ithaca goals at Cortland and in the Empire 8 final over Nazareth. Career Statistics
High School: A 2009 graduate of Lansing High School, Palladino was coached by Lamarr Peters. A two-time all-state selection, she earned league MVP recognition twice while setting a school record for career goals. She helped Lansing to three Section IV titles, three league championships and a pair of division crowns.
Personal: A health sciences major, she is the daughter of Steve and Ellen Palladino. Her twin sister Megan, is also a senior with the Bomber program.
