2009 Game-by-game statistics
2008: Koppel played in 18 games and ranked fourth on the team with 13 points and six goals. She was named Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week after capping a three-game scoring streak with the game-tying goal (in the 88th minute) at St. Lawrence. She scored a career-high three points in the NCAA playoff win over Westfield State and added a goal in the NCAA regional semifinals to help beat #3 Lynchburg. Koppel’s first two collegiate goals came in consecutive games as Ithaca topped Elmira and Alfred. She won the school’s James Harris Award as the top multi-sport athlete in the senior class.

Career statistics
High School: A 2005 graduate of Southside High School, Koppel was coached by Judy Croutier. She earned all-state and all-county honors and was chosen for the Exceptional Seniors game.
Personal: A student in the physical education graduate program who earned her bachelor’s in health promotion and physical education major last spring, she is the daughter of James and Norma Koppel. A three-year member of Ithaca’s track & field team, she is a state champion pentathlete and NCAA qualifier.
