Ithaca College Athletics

2008: Deshaies earned second team All-America honors on the uneven parallel bars by placing 11th at the NCGA Championships with a score of 9.425. She placed first on the bars with a score of 9.625 at the Ithaca Invitational and earned ECAC Specialist of the Week honors. She scored a season-best 9.675 in a tri-meet against Southern Connecticut and Rhode Island College the following week and won the event. That score is the second-best in Ithaca history. Deshaies averaged 9.352 on the bars in 10 competitions.

2007: Deshaies competed at six meets on the uneven bars, and earned a season average of 9.0291. Her top score (9.550) came at Cortland. Deshaies recorded a top-25 finish at the ECAC Championships (25th, 8.925) and qualified for the NCGA finals. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.

2006: Deshaies was one of the Bombers’ top competitors on the uneven bars. She scored a season-best 9.25 to help Ithaca to a sweep of the top three places against Cortland and Rhode IslandCollege. Deshaies recorded a score of 9.2 at the Cornell Invitational.

High School: Deshaies lettered three times at Biddeford High. She also competed for Dudziak's School of Gymnastics where she was coached by Bogdan Dudziak. She received first place on the uneven bars at state and was a regional runner up her senior year.

Personal: The daughter of Phil and Cecile Deshaies, she is an exercise science major with a pre-med minor.
