Biography
2009-10: Jakubek swam freestyle, breaststroke and individual medley events for the Bombers. He placed 15th at the UNYSCSA meet in the 200-yard IM with a season-best time of 2:01.08, which was the third-fastest time on the Ithaca team. HE was 21st at the state meet in the 200 breast in 2:16.97.
2008-09: Jakubek completed his first season with the men's swimming & diving team.
High School: Jakubek was a six-time letter winner at Monroe-Woodbury High School, where he swam for coach Justin Wright. He was a two-time Section IX champion (200- and 400-freestyle relays) and also earned sectional and state scholar-athlete awards. He also lettered in track & field.
Personal: A physical therapy major, Kramer is the son of Mark and Jill Jakubek. He is also a member of the Ithaca men's outdoor track & field teams.
