Biography
2007-08: Hagy earned his third varsity letter and scored in three individual events at the Empire 8 Championships. He was 10th in the conference in the 200-yard butterfly (2:02.10), 11th in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.91) and 14th in the 100-yard butterfly (55.01).
2006-07: Hagy posted a top-ten finish in the 200-yard butterfly at the state meet for the second straight season, placing 10th with a time of 2:01.12. Hagy also earned a pair of 11th-place finishes at the state championships. He finished 11th in the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.34) and 11th in the 100-yard butterfly (54.08). Hagy recorded five top-three finishes during the season, including a win the 200-yard butterfly against Alfred.
2005-06: Hagy placed ninth in the 200-yard butterfly at the state championships with a time of 2:01.43. He also finished 19th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.11 and was 35th in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.77.
High School: A 2005 graduate of LaSalle College High School, Hagy was coached by Frank Licthner. He was a four-year letter winner and served as team captain his senior year. Hagy also lettered in water polo.
Personal: An occupational science/ocupational therapy major, he is the son of Bruce and Chris Hagy.
