2009 Game By Game Stats

2008: Movassaghi appeared in all 19 games for Ithaca and made 14 starts as a defensive midfielder. He was named to the all-tournament team at the Harrison House Invitational at Rowan. Movassaghi had one assist on the season, which came on Ithaca’s winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Rensselaer. He had five shots on the year.

2008 Game By Game Stats

2007: Movassaghi played in all but two games and drew nine starting assignments, including all five games of Ithaca’s season-opening winning streak. Movassaghi made his first career start in the Bombers’ season-opening victory at Keene State.

2006: Movassaghi appeared in 16 games in his first year at Ithaca. His tallied his first career goal and assist in a win over Medgar Evers. Movassaghi made his first collegiate start and scored his second goal of the season in a win over Brockport.

High School: A 2006 graduate of Ithaca High School, Movassaghi was coached by Terry Habecker. He earned two varsity letters as a member of the soccer team and was named team captain his senior year. Movassaghi was an all-league performer and was a member of the New York state Olympic development team from 2002-04. He also played club soccer for the Syracuse Blitz and the BC Fusion.

Personal: An integrated marketing communications major, he is the son of Hormoz and Zhila Movassaghi.
