Kelly Whiffen

Biography

2007: Whiffen competed in all seven meets on the balance beam. She placed 19th at the ECAC Championships (9.150) and an NCGA qualifier. Whiffen earned her top score (9.325) against Rhode Island College and Southern Connecticut.
 
2006: Whiffen did not compete in any meets because of an injury. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.

2005: Whiffen was injured and did not see any action as a freshman.

High School: At Sharon High School she was coached by Lori Clark and Susan Rennie. She a state runner-up in the uneven bars. Whiffen also competed in club gymnastics for the Academy of Gymnastics. She the Level 8 state champion in the uneven bars and placed sixth in that event at the Level 9 state championships.

Personal: A journalism major, she is the daughter of Lewis and Donna Whiffen. Her brother Scott is a junior at Ithaca.
