Ithaca College Athletics

2008-09: Bennett was a two-time all-state performer as a junior. She placed seventh in the triple jump at the indoor state meet at 10.49 meters. Outdoors, she scored 2,833 points to place eighth in the state in the heptathlon. At the indoor Empire 8 Championships, Bennett placed third in the triple jump and sixth in the high jump. Outdoors, she placed fifth in the conference in both the high and long jumps.

2007-08: Bennett was the Empire 8 runner-up in the triple jump during the indoor season and runner-up in the long jump during the outdoor season. She was also named all-NYSCTC in both seasons, finishing seventh in the pentathlon at the indoor championship and eighth in the heptathlon at the outdoor championship.

2006-07: Bennett was the Empire 8 runner-up in the indoor high jump and was a six-time state qualifier. She placed ninth at the NYSCTC Championships in the heptathlon (2,927 points) and also qualified in the outdoor triple jump and high jump. During the indoor season, Bennett was a NYSCTC qualifier in the high jump, triple jump and pentathlon.

High School: A 2006 graduate of East Lyme High School, Bennett was coached by Carl Reichard. She earned seven varsity letters as a member of the track & field teams and served as team captain. Bennett was all-area and all-class honors in the high jump.

Personal: A clinical health studies/physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Mark and Jan Bennett.
