Biography
2006: A first-team Empire 8 all-star, Hoover started every game for the second straight season. Her four assists ranked third on the team. Hoover recorded her first career point in the Empire 8 win at Hartwick, assisting on the game-winning goal. She also picked up assists on the game-winning goals against St. John Fisher and William Smith and contributed an assist in the win over Elmira.
2005: Hoover started every game and helped anchor a defense that ranked sixth nationally in save percentage. She assisted on the game-winning goal in the victory over Clarkson.
2004: Hoover appeared in six games and made her first career start in the Empire 8 Championship Tournament semifinal against Utica.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Greece Athena High School, Hoover was coached by Mike Butler. A second-team all-county selection, she was named the team’s most improved player and was chosen for the 2003 senior all-star game.
Personal: A biology major, she is the daughter of Jeffrey and Deborah Hoover.
