Ithaca College Athletics

2007: Brooks appeared in 11 games and drew a pair of starting assignments. She earned the win in Ithaca’s season-opening victory over Wells and recorded a career-high 14 saves against St. John Fisher in the Empire 8 playoffs. Brooks made 12 saves against #6 Hamilton and stopped nine more shots (in just 29 minutes) at #16 William Smith. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.

 

2006: Brooks played in all but one game, making six starts. She made a career-best 13 saves against Mary Washington in 40 minutes. She contributed six saves and three ground balls against St. John Fisher. Brooks recorded five saves in one half of action in the win over Hartwick. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.

 

2005: Brooks started six games in goal and recorded a 5-3 record. She was named Empire 8 Goalie of the Week after collecting nine saves and three ground balls in Ithaca’s upset of #13 Hamilton. Brooks made a career-best 10 saves against seventh-ranked Colorado College. She made her first career start at Alfred and held the Saxons scoreless while playing the first half. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the spring semester.

 

High School: A 2004 graduate of Ward Melville High School, Brooks was coached by Erin Blaney. She earned team MVP honors and was an all-league selection as a senior.
