2006 Women's Swimming and Diving Roster
Biography
2006-07: Faiella was 11th on the team in scoring and registered three top-15 finishes at the state championships. She placed 11th and 13th in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke, respectively, and finished 14th in the 500-yard freestyle. Faiella was a member of the 200- and 400-yard medley relay teams that placed 18th and 20th at states, respectively. She was named to the Empire 8 President’s List after the fall and spring semesters.
2005-06: Faiella joined the Bombers during the season after transferring from Division II Tampa. She competed in the breaststroke and freestyle events. Faiella recorded top-15 finishes in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke at the NYSWCAA Championships — finishing 14th and 15th, respectively – and was 24th in the 500-yard freestyle.
2004-05: Faiella was a member of the crew and swimming teams at Division II University of Tampa.
High School: Faiella was an all-Long Island performer and four years and was a three-time CHSSA state qualifier at Out Lady of Mercy Academy. She served as team captain her senior year and was named to the all-academic team in each of her four years.
Personal: A recreation management major, she is the daughter of Ronald and Deborah Failella.
